Nominations are now being accepted for the Dr. Percy Demers Physician Excellence Award. In honour of the late Dr. Percy Demers who served with distinction at HDGH from 1960 -2002, this prestigious annual award recognizes outstanding contributions to physician education, leadership, or patient care. The criteria for nominating a physician includes: nominee must be a licensed physician in good standing at HDGH; have made significant contributions to physician education, innovation, leadership or patient care; and must be a person of recognized personal and professional integrity committed to the mission and values of HDGH.
