Interventional Cardiologist
Department: CARDIAC CATHETERIZATION LAB
Position: Full Time Permanent

Summary
Join an energetic team of cardiac care providers at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital (HDGH), Windsor & Essex County’s premier tertiary acute care hospital. HDGH provides advanced care in complex trauma, cardiac care, renal dialysis, stroke and neurosurgical services, along with acute adult mental health. This broad foundation of medical and surgical services is supported by our cutting edge diagnostic imaging. A stand alone angioplasty service will be launched in May 2007, and our team is eager to welcome another interventional cardiologist. We offer state of the art facilities and the opportunity to practice in a dynamic team of cardiologists, technicians and nurses, dedicated to service excellence. Our busy catheterization lab performed more than 1,500 procedures last year and with the introduction of angioplasty we will be expanding our space. Windsor offers the unique opportunities of a large metropolitan area and the benefits of a smaller community. Living directly across the border from Detroit, Michigan places you on a cosmopolitan stage where arts, culture, big-league sports and entertainment are just moments away. Best of all, you can enjoy access to all these big-city advantages while living in the relative tranquility (and low costs) of a much smaller, friendlier community. The area is ecologically rich, with extensive parks and a global reputation for bird watching opportunities, along with a southwest location that extends warm-weather activities such as golfing, gardening and water sports.
