Hospital Access
The media is asked to contact the HDGH Communications Office before coming onto hospital property. While on the property, members of the media must be escorted by a communications staff member when interviewing and photographing patients and staff for your story.

Requests to visit restricted areas must be cleared in advance through the Communications Office so that appropriate arrangements can be made for media access.

Signed patient consent must be obtained before interviewing, photographing, filming, or making a videotape or audio recording of a Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital patient. Hôtel-Dieu Grace physicians and staff must be asked for their permission before the media can use them for an audio or video recording, filming, photographs, or an interview.

After hours the media can phone 519-980-5767 or the switchboard at 519-973-4444 to have a Communications staff member on call to be paged.
