After Your Day Surgery

Depending upon your specific procedure, you may be required to spend time in the Recovery Room for monitoring. Once your healthcare team determines that you are stable, you will be transferred back to Day Surgery.

You can expect to remain in Day Surgery for up to 2 hours, depending upon how well you adjust during your recovery period.

It is imperative that you arrange for a driver to take you back home. After anaesthetic or receiving drugs you are NOT allowed to drive yourself home.
