Renal Scans

Preparation:

Eat and drink as usual.

Take all prescribed medications as usual unless given specific instructions.

Drink 2 to 3 glasses of fluid prior to your appointment time.

Empty your bladder when needed.

Baseline Renal Scan takes approximately one hour.

Captopril Renal Scan takes approximately 2.5 hours.
