Carbon 14 Urea Breath Test
Preparation:
Do not have anything to eat or drink 6 hours prior to test.
You must be able to swallow a whole capsule. ( Capsule is made of gelatin, sugar, starch. It contains NO soya or wheat.)
OFF all antibiotics for 1 month.
OFF Bismuth (Pepto Bismol) for 1 month.
OFF Sulcralfate (Sulcrate) for 2 weeks.
OFF Proton Pump Inhibitors for 2 weeks. (see list below)
Please bring all your medications with you
This test will take 20 minutes
