Gallium Scan    

Preparation:

  • There is no specific preparation for this test.
  • Eat and drink as usual.
  • Take prescribed medications as usual.
  • Arrive first day for injection.  This will take approximately 15 minutes.
    • Return to hospital after 48 hours and 72 hours for imaging. Imaging will take approximately 1 hour each day.
