Research Ethics Board Program

The role of the Research Ethics Board is to ensure the safety of patients involved in any research, which is conducted in whole or in part at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital. Each protocol involving human subjects must be submitted and will be reviewed in accordance with the Tri-council Policy Statement on Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans, to ensure that it complies with accepted principles.

The Research Ethics Board meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month. Inquiries about the submission process can be addressed to Administrative Assistant, Peggy Allen at ext. 3102.
