The Community Crisis Centre of Windsor-Essex County is a Ministry of Health and Long Term Care funded program that works in partnership with area hospitals and social agencies to provide crisis response services to individuals 16 years of age and older who are experiencing an acute mental illness and/or psychosocial crisis.
The Community Crisis Centre is committed to providing prompt and effective crisis intervention services by a team of dedicated, trained professional staff.
Crisis services improve the quality of life for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis and reduce unnecessary hospitalizations by alleviating symptoms and facilitating access to on-going supports in the community to help prevent future crises.
