HDGH was one of only 11 agencies across Ontario to be selected as a Best Practice Spotlight Organization Candidate for their initiative and dedication to creating an evidence-based culture, improving patient care and enriching the professional practice of nurses and other healthcare professionals at HDGH. This affiliation supports the hospital in its plan to take on new guidelines and continue to advance the integration of the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario’s Best Practice Guidelines.

Upon successful completion of a rigorous three-year plan, HDGH will be formally and officially designated by the RNAO as a Best Practice Spotlight Organization.
