Volunteer Association

The Volunteer Association is an invaluable component of Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital. Association members are involved in many clinical areas of the hospital providing compassion, support and information to patients, families and visitors at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital.

In addition to patient and family support, volunteer association members operate the Crossroads Cafe and the Gift Shop, and are actively involved in other special fundraising events within the hospital including the annual Tree of Lights and Zehr's Food Stores save-a-tape programs. These initiatives result in significant funds being raised annually by the association. The funds are used to enhance patient care, and purchase equipment to support the needs of the hospital.

Elected by members of the Association, the Volunteer Association is governed by a Board of Directors, and is responsible for strategic planning, management, fiscal decisions, oversight of operational tasks and communication with members and stakeholders.

VOLUNTEER ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIPS
Each year, the Volunteer Association designates funds for the sole purpose of providing scholarship assistance to Association members or immediate family who are interested in pursuing health-related studies at University or College.

The Association grants up to two $500 scholarships each year. Please contact the Volunteer Office to obtain an application form.
