Mr. DeLuca served on the Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital Board of Directors, including six years as Board Chair from 1993-1998. During his tenure on the hospital board, the hospital went through many historic changes including the Alliance Agreement between the RHSJ Health Centre and The Salvation Army Grace Hospital, signed on December 1, 1993 after several years of planning and discussion.

“Armando DeLuca was a respected leader in the community and a great supporter of our hospital,” said Patricia Somers, Senior Vice President Patient Services and Chief Nursing Executive. “His passing will be deeply felt within our community.”
