For Immediate Release June 13, 2011 Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital Honours Its Legends & Recognizes 5,470 Years of Service WHAT: Hôtel-Dieu Grace hospital will honour its Legends this week – (two staff members and one physician) recognized by their peers as role models who consistently go above and beyond and who embody one or more of HDGH’s values of respect, compassion, teamwork or stewardship. Their inspiring stories, as told through nominations by fellow colleagues, illustrate deeds and accomplishments that are clearly exceptional. Staff will also be honoured for their years of dedicated service to HDGH. A total of 318 staff and 25 physicians who have achieved five to 45 year milestones of service will receive service award pins. Together they represent 5,470 years of service to the patients at HDGH. WHO: Supervisor Ken Deane and Vice President People Services, Organizational Effectiveness & Corporate Strategy Shona Elliott will be on hand to present the Legends and Service Awards to these deserving recipients.
