HDGH Wellness Week Dedicated to Health Staff
For many years, healthcare experts have encouraged individuals to get more exercise, eat a healthier diet and find positive spiritual and other constructive ways to help foster better physical and mental well-being.
From January 16-20, Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital staff will take a little of their own medicine with activities and workshops geared to helping individuals improve their physical and mental health during Wellness Week. Activities will include guided wellness walks, a stair climber challenge, healthy cooking demonstrations, Pilates and fitness classes, a Weight Watchers seminar, a free family skate.
The week's activities start Monday, January 16th with the annual Spa Day. For a $5 donation to the HDGH Foundation, staff will be pampered with spa treatments in the Learning Centre (located near the Chapel) between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
