HDGH Staff Big Losers in the Eyes of Weight Watchers
WHAT
Weight Watchers Group will join the Wellness Week festivities at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital this Thursday by honouring the hospital for supporting a healthy living program, which resulted in a 2,822-pound weight loss. The weight loss occured over 15 sessions, starting March 1, 2007 through November 15, 2011. An average 32 people participated in each session. A presentation and personal "congratulations" will be made to Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital representative Toni Janik.
Boasting an average 52-pound weight loss, each hospital employee has made the most of their 30-minute weekly sessions designed to support and inspire their healhty living plan. In addition, meetings are incorporated into the work week, making attendance simple and convenient. The partnership between Weight Watchers and HDGH has been in place since March 2007.
