Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital Angioplasty Program to Benefit from Antonino’s Pizza Sales in February
Windsor, ON – As the regional provider of Cardiac Care Services, Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital is celebrating February, also known as “Heart Month” raising awareness and funds to support its Cardiac Angioplasty Program. This year we are pleased to announce that once again, Antonino’s Original Pizza has offered their support by donating $1 from every heart shaped pizza and heart shaped cinnamon stick ordered during the month of February to the hospital’s Cardiac Angioplasty Program.
Joe Ciaravino, owner of Antonino’s Original Pizza, suggests that pizza can be a very heart healthy food choice. “Take our Smart Pizza,” says Ciaravino. “It has extra thin crust, goes light on the mozzarella, has a hint of sharp parmigiano regiano and pecorino romano, and is loaded with fresh vegetables – low carb, low fat, low sodium, but tastes great. Add hot peppers and you won’t even miss the pepperoni.”
“We are thrilled to have Antonino’s supporting our Cardiac Angioplasty Program once again this year,” said Bill Marra, President of the Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital Foundation. “The fact that Joe has created a “Smart Pizza” that provides a healthier choice for the people in this community is equally exciting.”
