Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare Issues Influenza Alert

 

In an effort to protect our patients, staff, physicians, volunteers, and visitors, Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare is issuing an influenza alert. Currently HDGH has one confirmed case of Influenza A and are monitoring other suspected cases. In an effort to protect the health of all individuals on the campus and the community at large HDGH has decided to issue an influenza alert. The Windsor Essex County Health Unit has been notified. Hôtel-Dieu Grace is asking if you have a cold or flu-like symptoms such as fever, runny nose, cough or muscle aches, please do not visit until your symptoms are gone. Family and friends visiting units 2S or 3N (Emara Building) will be asked to wear a mask on the unit. In addition to this, any patients on 2S or 3N who leaves the unit will need to wear a mask. As always, frequent hand washing is encouraged for all visitors to the campus.
