Qualifications:
Valid General Class Certificate of Registration (College of Nurses of Ontario);
Current Basic Rescuer (C) recognized by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario;
BScN, preferred;
ACLS, required;
Minimum of 5 years Critical Care Nursing, required:
C.N.A. Certification in Cardiovascular Nursing Critical Care, preferred:
Relevant experience with Interventional Radiology Procedures considered an asset;
Certified to inject contrast media;
Competent in IV starts and Hemodynamic Monitoring skills, required;
Participate in supply management and process improvement initiatives;
Available to work all shifts;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all patients, physicians, staff and visitors;

Qualifications

  • Must Be Eligible For Licensure With The Ontario College Of Pharmacists – Part A
  • At Least Two Years Experience In A Hospital Pharmacy Is Required And A Residency Or Fellowship Is Preferred
  • Experience In Providing Drug Information, Pharmacotherapeutics, Total Parental Nutrition And Drug Evaluation Would Be An Asset
  • Preference Will Be Given To Individuals With Experience In Cardiology, Nephrology, Infectious Diseases, Nutrition Support, Internal Medicine, Intensive Care, Emergency, Neurology, Drug Information, Surgery And Psychiatry
  • Self-Motivation Along With The Ability To Problem-Solve Independently Needed
