The Surgery Department at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital is made up of ten state-of-the-art Operating Rooms that utilize equally advanced instrument sterilization processes. With 84 inpatient surgical beds, the department handles approximately 16,000 inpatient and outpatient cases annually.
Incorporated into the Surgery Department are the programs in the following areas:

- Ophthalmology
- Neurosurgery
- General Surgery
- Urology
- Orthopedics
- Ear, Nose and Throat
- Thoracic
- Maxilo-facial and plastic surgery
Dr. Hussein Khalaff is the Interim Chief of Surgery and Dr. Bill Taylor is Chief of Anesthesia and Medical Director of Surgery
