You Are Not Alone

All of us feel blue, sad, anxious or angry from time-to-time. Events, personal relationships, stress and other challenges can cause any of us to feel overwhelmed. However, when these thoughts, feelings and behaviours linger for extended periods of time and you can't seem to shake them or find a positive outlet to deal with these issues, it may be time to consider seeking professional help.

If you are feeling overwhelmed and need immediate help, contact the Community Crisis Centre at (519) 973-4435 - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Caring and experienced professional staff are available to provide crisis counselling, emotional support, information and referrals.

The Community Crisis Centre provides crisis response services to individuals 16 years of age and older who are experiencing an acute mental illness and/or a psychosocial crisis. Crisis intervention includes a 24 hour Crisis Telephone line; 24 hour services in the Emergency Department at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital; Walk-In service in the Community Crisis Centre in the Jeanne Mance Building, 1st Floor Monday through Friday during business hours and Mobile Crisis Response, Monday through Friday, 7am – 11pm.

If you believe you are having a medical or psychiatric emergency call 911 for immediate assistance.
