Sam Sinjari
Sam Sinjari is a passionate community leader, dynamic motivational speaker, and a positive influence in the Windsor-Essex community. An advocate for personal growth and professional development, Sam is a natural motivator, always encouraging others to reach their full potential. Loyal to his community, Sam puts people first.
He created Empowering Kindness, a show he hosts on AM 800 CKLW focused on social impact, with the hope to inspire and motivate others to spread kindness and positivity. During the weekly one-hour show, local community champions join Sam to discuss current needs, success stories, and how they’re making the community better for all. His commitment to social issues is demonstrated through his involvement on various boards, including the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO), the Health Professions Discipline Tribunal, Hydrocephalus Canada, and the Windsor Licensing Commission.
Sam mentors youth through Junior Achievement Southwestern Ontario’s JA Company Program, an initiative that provides high school students with hands-on experience in launching and running a real business. Under guidance from mentors like Sam, students form teams, develop business plans, create and market products, and manage finances—gaining vital entrepreneurial, leadership, and teamwork skills. Through this program, Sam helps shape the next generation of leaders, preparing them for both business success and positive community impact. He has also worked with the No Time for That Anti-Bullying Society, supporting efforts to educate and inspire youth to overcome bullying, mental health challenges, and abuse.
Sam is highly active in his philanthropic efforts, instrumental in planting 50 large trees at Gignac Park and providing thousands of meals for families through organizations such as the Unemployed Help Centre, Downtown Mission, The Salvation Army, and Hand and Hand Support. He also loves supporting organizations like the Windsor-Essex Children’s Aid Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and United Way. A true family man, Sam has donated board games and other essentials to these organizations to support local children and families.
Because of these efforts, Sam was named a Community Champion by the Odette School of Business at the University of Windsor. He has funded successful radio campaigns for many local nonprofit organizations to encourage social consciousness, including campaigns to report tips to Crime Stoppers.
Sam’s advocacy work includes pushing for more affordable housing programs, raising awareness about food insecurity, and advocating for turning Ojibway into a National Urban Park. With a passion for serving others and making a lasting and meaningful difference, Sam exemplifies true dedication and commitment to those in the Windsor-Essex community.
In addition to being a motivational and keynote speaker, Sam often serves as an MC for fundraisers, charity golf tournaments, and community events. He inspires individuals to realize their potential and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
