Clementa Stan, Director
Following completion of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Odette School of Business at the University of Windsor, Clementa started her career in human resources management in financial services. Since then, most of her career has been with the University of Windsor in roles ranging from administration to student services. Currently, she advises graduate business students and future business leaders on their career options and interests. She also liaises with local, national, and international companies to match their talent needs with graduates of the Odette School of Business. Clementa was a Sessional Instructor with St. Clair College where she taught both international business and human resources courses and is currently a Sessional Instructor at the Odette School of Business.
Besides her MBA degree, Clementa also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in Human Resources and is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) in the province of Ontario through the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA).
Clementa is a mental health advocate and the brainchild behind the Caring for the Caregiver project, a joint initiative between Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare, the University of Windsor’s Faculty of Nursing, and WE-SPARK Health Institute designed to research the needs and experiences of families caring for loved ones living with mental illness in Windsor-Essex and providing support to them. Clementa was the recipient of the Mental Health Champion award in 2021 through the Office of Human Rights, Equity and Accessibility at the University of Windsor.
Clementa was born and raised by her grandmother in Romania, Eastern Europe. She now lives in Windsor with her husband Andrei.
