Kathy Roy, Patient Family Advisory Representative
Kathy Roy is a retired elementary teacher with 35 years of experience with the Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board (WECDSB). After retirement, she worked at the University of Windsor, mentoring teacher candidates in the Faculty of Education and assisting students with academic assignments at the Writing Support Desk.
She is an enthusiastic supporter of the May Court Club of Windsor, a charitable organization dedicated to addressing the needs of children in our Windsor-Essex County community. Over the years, Kathy has fulfilled numerous roles while sitting on the May Court Club of Windsor Board, including Social Director, Vice President, President, and Past President. She is currently the incoming Vice President for the Association of May Court Clubs of Canada. She has been the Tuesday manager at The May Court Club Shoppe for many years.
Kathy is presently co-chair of the Patient and Family Advisory Council at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare where she has the opportunity to positively impact policies, programs, and initiatives to support the patient and client experience.
