Jeff Bechard, Director
Jeff Bechard began his career 30 years ago as an ICU Registered Nurse in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Henry Ford Hospital. With over 15 years of leadership experience at Henry Ford Health, Jeff is an accomplished healthcare leader who currently serves as the Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Operations for Ambulatory Services across Henry Ford Health. In his role, Jeff oversees the strategic direction and operational performance of Nursing Care, as well as quality services, including risk management, infection prevention, and accreditation across the ambulatory setting. His responsibilities include standardizing and integrating ambulatory Nursing and Quality services to ensure highly reliable performance and processes across the ambulatory network.
Jeff possesses extensive experience in hospital, ambulatory, and procedural-based health services. He has held various leadership positions, including Vice President of Medical Specialties, Director of Cardiology, and Group Practice Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab within the Henry Ford Medical Group. Additionally, Jeff has served as Nurse Administrative Manager and Assistant Nurse Administrative Manager of the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Henry Ford Hospital.
Jeff is actively involved in the community. He currently serves as a Member of Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare’s Board of Directors after serving three terms as a Non-Director Community Member on HDGH’s Quality Board. He also participates as a member of the AMGA’s Chief Nursing Officer Council.
Jeff and his wife Shannon are lifelong residents of Windsor-Essex and have three adult children, Sara, Sydney and Ryan. Jeff spends his spare time enjoying time with his family.
