Sonja Grbevski, Vice President Clinical Services - Mental Health and Addictions, Executive Lead - Addictions & Collaborative Programs (CMHA)
Sonja Grbevski became the Vice President for Mental Health and Addictions at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare in January 2017. She had been Vice President Clinical Operations since September 2014. Prior to her leadership roles, Sonja spent nine years in Acute Care with Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital.
Currently, her portfolio consists of Community Mental Health, Adult Mental Health and Addictions, Children’s Mental Health Services. Most recently Sonja has been involved with an inner city strategy known as the Transitional Stability Centre. This is a new model of care within the Windsor community for individuals that require intervention for addiction and/or Mental Health needs.
Additionally, Sonja has her doctorate in Counsellor Education, with cognates in Rehabilitation Counseling and Educational Psychology from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She is an Adjunct Professor in the Rehabilitation Counseling program at Wayne State University, where she is responsible for teaching Medical and Psychosocial Aspects of Disability; Diagnosis, Treatment and Intervention Planning of Individuals with Mental Illness and Dual Diagnosis; Trauma Informed Treatment with Individuals with Mental Illness, and professional Roles.

Sonja has been married to Peter for 25 years. She is blessed with four amazing children aged 24, 22, 22 & 20.
